Lancashire Fire Service HQ

Exciting news!

While working on many current projects at Team ago go, we have recently won a huge bid as the interior designers for the new lanc fire service HQ!

This is a great achievement, not only for the company but for myself too.

Designing a new and exciting office for the staff of Lanc fire service to work within, we have added colour, texture and shapes for it to become a pleasant environment to be within.

Not only creating a floor plan that suits all departments from ICT to HR, we have break out stations, a kitchen, multiple different seating areas, a resource hub and more...!

Digital Webform - Office

A new and exciting design company is arriving in Liverpool, along with it a stimulating building.

The "THINK Tank"

This is a space for any staff to get away from their desk, to sit, to discuss and to THINK about current projects.
At a large height of 5m it sits in-between three floors towards the rear end of the building. Standing on the back street with a glass facade, the aim is to feel at first glance that this oversized speech bubble isn't safe.

The view from the four floor which you locate the "THINK Tank"

Constructed from 3double walled corrugated cardboard, this is a simple and an effective structure.

The lift

A space that takes you through each floor of the building, the basement which includes the product manufacturing area up to the top floor which is a rooftop playground.

The lift is glass so that all travellers within are able to see out to all areas, staff working at their desks to having lunch in the kitchen area.
The spirals that flow from the top to the bottom are to represent the roots that grow from a tree, constructed out of twisted wood to create a strong bond.

The NEW friday night

An entertainment centre which includes a viewing pod, multiple restaurants, a basement bar and a few select hotel rooms on the top floor.

Below shows each floor plan of he building. The basement features a bar and seating area, using a black and gold theme and a large landscape image of Liverpool opposite the bar for guests to admire.
the ground floor holds the entertainment pod that can have multiple uses e.g. theatre, music gig, private cinema viewing etc. Also on the ground floor which spreads to the first floor are four restaurants that are available to hire for private functions and when not being hired are open to the public.
On the top floor are five exclusive hotel rooms that have amazing views looking over to the river.

The image above shows the entertainment pod and in the background features the ground floor restaurants.
